Hello, I'm Suraj, a product designer who once wrote frontend code.
Around that time I found a small group of people online, and we started building projects together, mostly so we'd each have something for our own portfolios.
They were better than me. Faster, sharper, clearly knew more, and it showed within the first project or two.
But nobody in the group could design. I could. Back in school I'd spent hours on photo manipulation, posters, logos, nothing serious, just things I liked making. So when a project needed to actually look like something, that became my job.
I've been doing it since. Not because I planned to. Because it's what stuck.
